The journal measures 7.5" x 10" (25.2 x 19 cm) in size, providing ample space for your writings, and boasts a thickness of approximately 3 inches (8 cm). The front cover plate showcases a hand-carved Caduceus, staff carried by Hermes, the messenger of the gods, as a symbol of peace. Among the ancient Greeks and Romans it became the badge of heralds and ambassadors, signifying their inviolability. Along the book spine are tightened patterned leather straps, placed between delicate ribs and metal pins. The leather undergoes a careful process of hand toning and aging, resulting in a rich spectrum of brown color tones.

Within the journal, you'll find 300 leaves (600 pages) of 140 gsm weight, blank white paper. This high-quality paper is produced by the esteemed Italian company, Fedrigoni, known for its exceptional craftsmanship. It offers a smooth writing surface without any bleed-through issues. The inside cover-endpapers feature exquisite marbled parchment, adding a touch of elegance. The gilded and aged paper edges further contribute to the journal's authentic vintage look.
