This journal measures 8" x 10" (26 x 20 cm) and has a thickness of around 3 inches (8 cm). The front cover features a recessed blank central part, surrounded by an embossed frame and handmade brass corners. The leather is expertly hand-toned and aged in a beautiful dark brown color tone. The central symbol, Cthulhu - Sigil of the Gateway, is hand-carved from thick leather, gilded, and hardened with special bookbinder's mixtures. Behind the symbol are embossed and gilded skulls.
The book block consists of 300 leaves (600 pages) of 140 gsm weight, clean white paper from the prestigious Italian company, Fedrigoni. The high-grade paper doesn't bleed through and offers an exceptionally smooth writing surface. The inside cover-endpapers feature marbled parchment for a touch of elegance, while the gilded and aged paper edges add to the authentic vintage look.
